The Caribbean Teaching Scholar (CTS) is a peer reviewed journal that focuses on research and the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) with particular relevance to the Caribbean region. Journal articles include original research papers using qualitative and/or quantitative methods, position papers and essays (grounded in literature and existing research) and book reviews.

The CTS is a peer-reviewed journal dedicated to scholarly inquiry and the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL), specifically tailored to the Caribbean region. Its content encompasses original research papers employing qualitative and/or quantitative methodologies, as well as position papers, essays rooted in literature and existing research, and critiques of books.
The Caribbean Teaching Scholar Journal (CTS) is excited to announce its Call for Papers on the theme “Post-Pandemic Challenges and Opportunities in Higher Education.” We seek to explore the multifaceted landscape of education in the wake of the global pandemic.
The Course Experience Review (CER), formerly the Student Evaluation of Courses and Lecturers (SECL) commenced at the UWI St Augustine campus in the 2010-2011 academic year. The evaluation process is implemented by the Centre for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL) and is scheduled for each semester.
