CAPE ESSAY COMPETITION
(Open to ALL CAPE Students)
Deadline: Friday 22nd September 2017
Topic: “Discuss the challenges an economy might face in recovering from a period of recession”.
Prizes:
First Prize $2000.00 to the individual student and COTE Challenge Trophy to the winning School
Second Prize: $1500.00 to the individual student
Third Prize: $1000.00 to the individual student
- Winners will be notified via Phone and Email by Wednesday 4th October 2017
- The winners would be presented their prizes at the conference.
- Top three (3) Essays to be placed in Economics Society of UWI Newsletter
How to Enter:
- Compose Essay
- Place school stamp on copy of essay
- Scan and Email copy of essay to uwi.cote@gmail.com by Friday 22nd September 2017, midnight
Additional Information:
- 1000-1200 words, type written, Times New Roman Font 12, 1.5 line spacing, Portable
- Document Format (PDF)
- Use of statistics and data from valid sources i.e. NO Wikipedia etc
- Use of analytical skills required
- Plagiarism will NOT be tolerated
- References and Bibliography to be included
- Cover Page should include:
- Student’s Name
- School
- Class
- Teacher’s Name
- School’s Email Address and Telephone Number
