This course provides learning opportunities to prepare students to articulate food security and related concepts assess and monitor food security and explores why greater developments of programs and policy initiatives for food security have not occurred. Frameworks for determining effective food security policies and programmes, will be examined during the course, along with proposals for policy and programme change.
