This course is designed to provide the necessary understanding of the entrepreneurial process for those interested in creating a new business venture, acquire an existing business, work in a sector such as banking that serve entrepreneurs, or those who simply wish to familiarise themselves with the concepts, issues and techniques of new venture creation and entrepreneurship. By the conclusion of this course, students should be able to identify, analyse and evaluate entrepreneurial opportunities; integrate the functional areas of business into a business plan; and address the leadership and process issues involved in plan implementation.
