World Bank Group Young Professionals Program

In collaboration with the World Bank Group, the Department of Careers, Co-curricular & Community Engagement wishes to extend this exciting new opportunity to you, our Postgraduate and Doctoral students and alumni.

The World Bank together with The International Finance Corporation (IFC) and The Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA) have decided to merge their previous individual youth development programs to bring to you The World Bank Group Young Professionals Program.

They are looking for young academics with the drive and passion for solving developmental challenges across the globe. Previous cohorts of young professionals have been selected from all around the world to join this two-year leadership development program. This program leads to a five-year employment contract in one of these organizations (IFC, MIGA).

If you are thirty-two (32) and younger with a masters degree or currently pursuing a Doctoral degree with a passion for international development, then begin your career at The World Bank Group by signing up to be part of this exceptional initiative.

YPP Applications are open. Hear more about what to expect, eligibility and applications at The IFC’s presentation for candidates of The University of the West Indies on August 23rd, 2021 @ 5:00 pm.

In the midst of it all, I encourage you to not allow fear to take control of your heart. Read More...
