Course Description
This course will focus on structure and properties of atoms and atomic nucleus as the basis for nuclear medicine and for many diagnostic imaging studies. Nuclear and sub-nuclear structures, nuclear reactions, the various modes of nuclear decay, as well as electromagnetic properties of elementary particles and nucleus; concepts, principles and quantities in nuclear and atomic physics with some application of quantum mechanics will be addressed.
