About UWI Discovers Brazil
On May 17th a group of senior Faculty, Administrators and Alumni will embark upon UWI Discovers Brazil, a 3-week visit to the largest country on the South American continent. In Brazil, the participants will be provided with a level of engagement that extends beyond the typical package tour in that, they will not only visit tourism hotspots, but also leading educational institutions. In order to provide this special experience, visits were sought with the various higher education institutions, historical sites and museums, in different cities.
Through this unique approach, the Discover Brazil participants will be provided with not only a tourism experience, but an understanding of the changes that the country is undergoing with the impact of globalization.
