The Aims and Objectives

  1. To provide instruction in a range of engineering, economic and managerial subjects that should enable engineers and construction professionals to be better able to deal with the problems that can occur on a construction project.
  2. To improve the decision-making capabilities of engineers and other construction professionals in the region, with a view to improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the whole construction process.
  3. To equip engineers and construction professionals to apply modern knowledge effectively in the real, competitive world of industry, and hence to assist the nations of the regions in their bid for modernisation and development.
  4. To foster the advancement of knowledge through the promotion of research into the problems and opportunities that face the construction sector.
