The UWI-FDC is now on Facebook!

The Family Development Centre is a national, regional, and international Centre for the protection and promotion of the rights of every child to quality home and school environments.

It targets, as a priority, the critical early childhood development needs of the Caribbean through policy-oriented research and complementary early childhood services to families and their communities. Research and development, interdisciplinary teaching and training, and the provision of advisory and consulting services are the Centre’s main areas of focus.

Therefore, The UWI Family Development Centre now has social media presence via a Facebook page! Users will be able to access publications and other relevant material which will be posted regularly. The purpose of this is to build awareness of our organization, gain other’s perspective and create interaction with users.

This interactive page is designed as a hub for information sharing and reflection on early childhood issues, dilemmas, and pressing challenges within our field. Considered a pioneer and trailblazer in the field of family development and research, user interaction with us will help strengthen the region's ability to bring about positive change in the way society think and react to childhood concerns and professional practice.
