New Trinidadian Plant Record

A new plant for Trinidad was found in Matura National Park ESA. Duguetia pycnastera, a tree known to grow in Mora forest in Guyana, French Guiana and Venezuela, was found for the first time in Trinidad in 2006. This tree belonging to the Soursop Family (Annonaceae) grows in the Rio Seco area (Salybia).
