Corporate and Commercial Law
Postgraduate Diploma Specialism Overview:
Get the skills to undertake complex matters in Corporate & Commercial Law before international tribunals, ordinary courts and the Caribbean Court of Justice. The Corporate and Commercial Law specialism covers areas of law such as Banking Law, Company Law, Corporate Finance, Corporate Governance, Corporate Insolvency Law and Insurance Law. Graduates will be equipped to address issues and problems arising in these areas and moreover, to serve as consultants, legal advisors and policy advisors to clients, including corporations and regional Governments.
Entry Requirements:

A UWI LLB degree, or

A law degree from a university recognized by the UWI Board for Graduate Studies and Research

Applicants without a law background may also be considered (subject to additional criteria or conditions)
Course of Study:

Total Credits: 24 credit hours

Structure: 4 courses × 6 credits each

Requirement: The core course in Legislative Drafting and any two other courses in the list of courses for the UWI LLM.
