1st Regional Forum on Cluster Development

The Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business (ALJGSB) hosts the first Regional Forum On Cluster Development on Wednesday 9th November, 2011, at the Hyatt Regency Port of Spain. This forum, themed Opportunities for Competitiveness and Growth, is a part of the ALJGSB’s attempt to embrace cluster development as an area of research and to work to facilitate Cluster Development projects throughout the Caribbean.

The objectives of the forum are:

  • To promote the understanding of Cluster Development as a tool for economic development and transformation, highlighting key success stories in the application of the strategy. 
  • To build new collaborative networks regionally and internationally, among key stakeholders, such as the business community, policy makers and key development institutions.
  • To identify regional opportunities for Cluster Development.
