Mediating Gang Disputes

The Mediation Studies Unit, Department of Behavioural Sciences, hosts a symposium on the topic, “Mediating Gang Disputes: What Works,” on Wednesday 16th November, 2011, from 8:30 am-12 pm, at the School of Education Auditorium, Agostini St, St. Augustine. 

This symposium is a part of the Unit’s Restorative Justice Week celebrations. It aims to explore the best ways of mediating gang disputes and thereby, inform the development of mediation studies courses, by learning from two new projects – the Bail Boys project and the Cease Fire project.  Key speakers at this symposium include Mr. Justice G. Henderson, Mr. Justice Anthony Carmona, Mrs. Francis Thurton-Long, Mr. Gordon Husbands and Mr. Wayne Chance.
