Campus Literature Week - Gala Closing feat. award-winning author, Dr. Karen Lord

The Department of Literary, Cultural and Communication Studies of the Faculty of Humanities and Education presents "Campus Literature Week” – a week of readings at lunch time from April 13 to 17.
 
The Gala Closing runs from 7 to 8.30pm and features a reading by award-winning novelist and the department’s Writer-In-Residence, Dr. Karen Lord. 
 
Karen Lord, a Barbadian research consultant and author, is known for her multiple award winning novels Redemption in Indigo (Frank Collymore Literary Award 2008, Bocas Prize 2011 longlist) and The Best of All Possible Worlds (Frank Collymore Literary Award 2009). Her third novel The Galaxy Game was published in 2015.
 
This will be followed by a Tribute to Prof. Funso Aiyejina of Literatures in English and African and Asian Studies and former Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Education by literary alumna Dara Wilkinson-Bobb, Graduate, MFA in Creative Writing, Fiction.
