DLCC Seminars by Cultural Studies Postgraduate Students

The Department of Literary, Cultural and Communication Studies (DLCC) presents the following seminars by their Cultural Studies Postgraduate students:

  • 11.30am to 12.30pm| Ms. Nadia Whiteman presents her PhD in Cultural Studies 3rd seminar on the topic, A Safe Place? Discourses on Race, Gender & Sexuality in the Jamaican Rock Music Scene.
  • 1 to 2.30pm | Ms. Sharon Syriac presents her PhD in Cultural Studies 3rd seminar on the topic, Public Discourse in Shared Sacred Space: An Analysis of Catholic Responses to ‘The Madonna Murti’ documentary.
  • 2.30 to 3.30pm | Ms. Uta Rampersad  presents her MPhil in Cultural Studies 2nd Seminar on the topic, Understanding visibility – A Case study of Indian descendants in Martinique.
