The Department of Literary, Cultural and Communication Studies (LCCS), Faculty of Humanities and Education (FHE) hosts the 36th West Indian Literature Conference under the theme, Affect & Ethical Engagement.
The conference takes place from October 4 to 7 at the School of Education and Centre for Language Learning (CLL) Auditorium.
There will be lunchtime Readings by fiction writers and poets, film screenings and discussions in honour of Dr. Giselle Rampaul and Derek Walcott and more.

About the Conference
This annual, collaborative, intellectual engagement, which is now in its thirty-sixth year, is hosted in turn by the UWI campuses and non-campus territories, as well as by the University of Puerto Rico and the University of Miami, The University of the Bahamas and The University of Guyana.
