The 14^th annual The UWI SPEC International Half-Marathon takes place October 29 at The UWI SPEC. The UWI SPEC International Half Marathon has pledged its support to the Trinidad and Tobago Cancer Society, and will donate part of the race proceeds to the Society. Not only have runners responded with great interest to this cause pledging their own donations, enthusiasm has also been expressed by non-runners as well who have been contributing. The focus is on ALL CANCERS, for the disease’s many manifestations make it devoid of respect for race, creed, class, gender or age.  Cancer must be of great concern to us all and demands our utmost attention. 

Registration for the 13.1 mile race runs until October 13 and package distribution and package distribution starts from October 13.

Join local, regional and international athletes including 20 cancer survivors to win prizes worth over TT$15,000 in a range of categories. Not participating in the race, but want to give back? Send your donations by logging on to www.raceroster.com.
