About Chocolate Flavours of the World
The cocoa trees that produce chocolates referred to as the ‘food of the gods’, has been moved by mankind from its origin in the tropical West Coast of South America or the Amazon basin, throughout the tropical world to as far East as the Pacific Islands. The cocoa type or variety grown, the growing environment, the traditions of fermenting and drying cocoa practiced in distinct parts of the world has influenced the flavours of chocolate. The event takes you on a tour of the travel of the cocoa tree around the world that has produced the delectable diversity of flavours and aromas that excites our pallet. Come experience the historic travels of the humble cocoa plant from its amazon origins to its tropical locations across the world to create the Chocolate Flavours of the World.
About Chocolate Demo and Sampling
The cocoa bean has been used to produce a variety of scintillating and mouth-watering chocolates, desserts, pastries and other confectionaries. Come experience some of the world renowned chocolatiers and pastry chefs create a range of tempting chocolate delicacies and sample their delectable creations in the ambience of the Hyatt Hotel.
