UPA Annual Conference - Bursary Opportunities

The Annual Conference of the UK’s Universities Personnel Association (UPA) will take place from 12th – 15th May 2009 in Belfast, UK. The ACU and UPA have once again joined up to offer two attendance bursaries for HR staff in developing country universities to attend the conference.

The bursaries will cover the conference registration fee, accommodation and food during the conference, a return airfare to the UK and return transport from your airport of arrival to Belfast. If you wish to apply for a bursary, and are working in HR in an ACU member institution in a developing country, please send a letter addressed to:

Please Note:

The letter should be no more than two pages in length and should state your reasons for wishing to attend, and your experience in university Human Resource Management. Please enclose also a brief letter of support from the Executive Head of your institution and a curriculum vitae. You may email your application to r.grimmitt@acu.ac.uk.

Letters of application should reach the ACU no later than Wednesday 18th March 2009.
