The "Classic Concert - The Caribbean Man - A Tribute to Black Stalin" is the premiere event that showcases the range, versatility and talents of Mr. Roy Cape, former recipient of an honorary doctorate of letters (DLitt) from the University of the West Indies as well as the Roy Cape All Stars, and their many talented friends.
This concert will be a tribute to another honorary graduate of the UWI STA Mr. Leroy Calliste (DLitt), more popularly known by his calypsonian persona, Black Stalin.
In the spirit of philanthropy the proceeds of this event will go towards the defraying of Mr. Calliste's medical expenses.
The concert will be held on Sunday February 22, 2015 at the Hyatt Regency, the same venue as the annual Live at Hyatt show.
The star studded cast of UWI’s Classic Concert includes veterans of Trinidad and Tobago’s music industry as well as talented, driven, up and comers. The line-up is as follows:

The price of tickets will be $1000.00TT for all patrons.
