Applications are invited for the award of the following Postgraduate Scholarships for the 2024-2025 academic year. Scholarships are tenable only at the St. Augustine campus of The University of the West Indies and are normally awarded for a maximum period of two years i.e. one (1) year in the first instance. Based on performance in Year 1, the scholarship could be renewed. Ph.D. candidates may be awarded an additional year subject to satisfactory progress of their research. The scholarships mentioned below are offered only to full-time persons pursuing Higher Degrees by Research (M.Phil./Ph.D.) at the St. Augustine Campus.

The following scholarships are currently accepting applications: 

- UWI Postgraduate Scholarship (valued TT$60,000.00 per annum)

- Eric Williams Scholarship (valued TT$60,000.00 per annum)

- Elsa Goveia Scholarship (valued TT$60,000.00 per annum)

- The UWI Global Giving Bursary ( valued at TT$5,000.00)
