The UWI St. Augustine’s Faculty of Engineering's Department of Chemical Engineering has labs that offer cutting-edge technology that provides testing and services that include:

·         Geomechanical and rock physics

·         Geomechanics and reservoir characterization

·         Preparation of consolidated and friable (unconsolidated) samples

·         Cutting, grinding, lapping and polishing of surfaces

·         Petrographic thin

·         Petrographic analysis
