The Department of Computing and Information Technology is having its annual online boot camp on July 22 to 29 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 2:00p.m. to 4:00p.m.

The "Innovations in Data Science Bootcamp" is an immersive online learning venture crafted by The UWI’s Department of Computing and Information Technology (DCIT) and T&T Women in Data Science (WiDS). Open to both boys and girls in secondary school in forms 4,5 & 6, participants can expect to learn Data Exploration, Data Analysis, Statistical Modeling, Machine Learning Algorithms, Programming Foundations and Data Storytelling. Attendees can also expect to hear from alumni guest speakers and have an opportunity to be mentored.
