Yes, tours can be arranged through completing our school/group tour form.
- Why should I attend?
- What about internet access at the Research Expo? Will this be available?
- Is there parking on campus?
General parking for persons attending events will be available at the TGR North, TGR South, JFK, Heart Ease, LRC and Daaga car parks.
Please note however that the TGR car parks will not be available on Saturday, October 05, 2013.
Maxi Taxis and school buses conveying secondary school children would be required to park at the TGR North car park after dropping off the children at the JFK underpass.

A Research Exposition showcases a wide range of research projects and programmes. The UWI Research Expo 2013 will feature interactive displays, experiments, mini-workshops, mini concerts, poetry readings, film screenings and a variety of opportunities for you to learn about the offerings of The UWI.
The Research Expo is being held from 1st -5th October, 2013 at The University of the West Indies, JFK Quadrangle and Auditorium. An outline of the main actitivties can be found here.
Admission is free to the Research Expo, Symposium, mini-workshops, UWI Marketplace & Kids Fun Park and special collection tours of the Zoological Museum, Alma Jordan Library’s Eric Williams Memorial Collection and West Indiana Collection.
It’s an opportunity of a lifetime. You will get a chance to learn about the great research being done at UWI and the impact it is having on society. You can also attend mini-workshops and gain hands-on expertise in an area of interest, free of charge. On Saturday, the Kids Fun Park and Market Place will allow children and families to enjoy live entertainment, play interactive games, make new discoveries and have an opportunity that result from research conducted at UWI including chocolates, vegetables, milk, flowers and memorabilia.
Yes, free wireless will be available at the Expo.
