After years of study, projects, examinations, and research, the class of 2026 will cross the graduation stage and receive their degrees. Themed “Built to Adapt, Ready to Lead”, this year’s ceremonies will include the conferment of honorary degrees to agricultural development expert Mr Winston Rudder, senior diplomat Ambassador Colin Granderson, and surgeon and educator Professor Shaneeta Johnson.

Celebrate this milestone on the road with runners from T&T and the world at the 20th edition of this renowned athletic event. Hosted by the St Augustine Academy of Sport in The UWI’s Faculty of Sport, The UWI SPEC international half-marathon has grown from 300 participants in 2004 to more than 2,000 in 2025, bringing together participants ranging from the international elite to casual runners.
This year, both the half-marathon and 5k will focus on obesity awareness. Race Day will feature a comprehensive Health and Wellness Village, offering health screenings, nutritional guidance, wellness resources and interactive booths
