A little discovery went a long way:
In 2012 a new species of millipede was found near Charlotteville, Tobago. Specimens were sent to an expert in the
USA who consulted with an expert in Russia and finally, just last month, the species description was published, naming it
Pandirodesmus rutherfordi
after
the discoverer
