BTS Networks
Break the Silence Networks have been formed in Trinidad and in Tobago. For further information, please contact the IGDS on btsecsa@gmail.com.
Children's Groups
Children's voices are essential in this campaign. We encourage schools and children and youth NGOs to adopt the campaign and form Break the Silence groups and initiatives to create greater awareness among peers. Random Acts of Good Deeds is a children's group that has adopted the campaign and taken on the role as child spokespersons for the Break the Silence Campaign since 2011.
Women's Groups
Women and girls from communities that that participated in the Break the Silence research project have started their own support groups and initiatives to further awareness and educate themselves and people in their communities. This is a very rewarding and tangible and impact of the action-research project and interventions.
Community Groups
Members of communities that organized and participated in walks and wall painting events for the Break the Silence Campaign have gone on to form Networks in their communities and to mentor nearby communities in spreading awareness.
