Call for Abstracts
Themes of conference: In the context of Trinidad and Tobago, What is justice? What is law? Why do we punish? How do we change?
Local, regional and international presenters are invited to present papers on the themes or on related areas of interest as academics, researchers, practitioners, activists, Government agencies, non-governmental organisations, indigenous peoples, faith-based and community groups. Those working in social justice and criminal justice agencies, victims, offenders, prisoners, detainees and their support groups who would like to exchange ideas and experiences are welcome to participate in workshop sessions and panels.
Abstracts of 150-200 words and suggested panels should be sent to ICOPA14TT@gmail.com

- The peer-review journal Contemporary Justice Review is due to publish a special edition on Penal Abolition. This journal is published by Justice Studies Association.
- A publisher has also indicated an interest in a book collection of essays on penal abolition. More details to follow.
