The 5th Biennial International Business, Banking and Finance Conference (BBF5) will be held on May 2-3, 2013 at The University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus, Trinidad.
This conference has established itself as a regular biennial venture for the last eight (8) years. The forthcoming provides a forum for exchange of ideas on critical issues facing emerging economies, especially in the Caribbean, with an emphasis on growth in the new and ever changing global environment.
BBF5 will serve to bring together leaders of the local, regional and international business communities, senior government officials and academia. Through their collective participation, the conference aims to:
- Share, investigate and analyze experiences on key emerging issues pertaining to entrepreneurship, diversification, financial re-engineering and effective governance with implications for the Caribbean and other emerging economies;
- Identify strategies to be pursued at both the business and governmental levels to promote sustainable growth in business in Caribbean markets;
- Enhance understanding and collaboration between academics, business leaders and policy makers so as to improve the quality and transparency of decision-making on growth issues confronting emerging economies.
