CALL FOR PROPOSALS AND ABSTRACTS


 

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES


Abstract 200 words, type in 12pt. APA double space page alignment.

UWI Social Work unit invites all individuals to submit abstract for oral or poster presentations containing the title of the presentation, the name(s) and affiliation(s) of author(s). An abstract must be written clearly in English with less than 300 words. It is suggested to organize the abstract according to four sections, identified by the following headers: Background, Methods, Results, and Implications for Social Work and Social Development practice. The total word count of the manuscript should not exceed 5000 words.(APA 6th Edition style)

Conference committee particularly welcomes practical case studies to encourage the participation of practitioners in the fields of social work and social development as well as original research. Individual applicants are recommended to describe the objectives and results of the research or case studies in the abstract so that the Scientific Program Committee can evaluate the quality, originality, and completeness of the abstract.
