Poster and Visual Display Guidelines
Deadline for submission of poster information: FEBRUARY 10, 2016
Poster Size
All “posters” should include:
- A Heading
- Sub-headings
- General Descriptive Information (100 words)
- Relevant illustration or photographic image(s) (1-4 images)
- Contact person and/or information;
Guidelines in Formatting:
- Use PowerPoint® software and enhance readability of your poster by using at least a 48-point font for your title and author credits and at least a 24-point font for the text
- All poster information should be able to fit completely within and be affixed to a 4 ft tall by x 2 ft wide area;
- Include references on the poster itself
- Laminating is optional
Posters are most effective when they include the following sub-headings:
- Abstract
- Introduction
- Brief Literature Review
- Methods
- Findings/ Results
- Discussion
- Conclusion
