Basic Information

ECCD Programme

The ECCD programme is professionally designed for practitioners in the field of Education.  Its main thrust is towards the holistic development of reflexive professionals who are sensitive to the need to combine caring and advocacy with school and classroom management skills, leadership and information communication technology.

Successful candidates can enter into the Bachelor of Education Programme, which has a duration of three (3) years.

Entry Requirements

  • Applicants should have five (5) CXC O’ Levels inclusive of English.
  • A Police Certificate of Good Character (once accepted into the programme.)
  • A completed Medical (once accepted into the programme.)

 

Application Procedure

Candidates can submit their applications on-line at http:// www.uwi.edu/admissions

Persons applying on-line are exempted from paying the application fee. Alternatively, applicants may choose to submit a paper application (in duplicate) by downloading forms and all necessary documents, including a photocopy of each document, must be submitted with the application forms. If you apply on paper you must include with your application forms the NON-REFUNDABLE application fee of TT$90.00 which is payable at any branch of Republic Bank Ltd.
