Dr. Jonathan White graduated with commendation from The University of Glasgow in 2003. He completed an Equine Internship at a busy private equine practice in Newbury, England followed by an Equine Surgical Residency at the University of Glasgow. During his residency in Glasgow, he completed a Masters in Veterinary Medicine (MVM) and also obtained the RCVS Certificate in Equine Surgery (Orthopaedics). Dr. White spent another year as a Large Animal Surgery Resident at The University of Pennsylvania, USA. Since taking up the position as Lecturer in Equine Surgery in 2016, Dr. White has expanded the surgical capabilities of the SVM and has performed multiple successful colic surgeries, fracture repairs, arthroscopies and airway surgeries. Dr. White is currently enrolled as an alternate resident with the European College of Veterinary Surgeons.
