Dr. Kavita Lall is an Assistant Lecturer in Veterinary Physiology (Reproductive Physiology) and a Ph.D. candidate in Livestock Science, focusing on the reproductive physiology of the agouti (Dasyprocta leporina). Her research interests include neo-tropical animal reproduction, conservation and rehabilitation, with a focus on both wild and domesticated species. Dr. Lall has published numerous peer-reviewed journal articles and also serves as a reviewer for peer-reviewed journals. She is an active member of the Trinidad and Tobago Veterinary Association (TTVA) and served as the TTVA secretary and Commonwealth Veterinary Association Councilor from 2017-2019. With experience working in private veterinary practice, Dr. Lall integrates real-world clinical knowledge into her teaching, aiming to make Physiology and Biochemistry engaging and relevant to students, helping to prepare them for diverse careers following completion of their DVM degree.
