Born in Trinidad, Dr. Kegan Jones studied veterinary medicine at the University of the West Indies (UWI) specializing with research in animal production from non-domesticated wildlife species.   He completed his MSc. in Tropical Animal Science and is expected to be awarded his doctoral degree in Livestock Production in 2022.  He joined the UWI, School of Veterinary Medicine in 2019.

Climate change and its effect on small ruminant production in the tropics. Nutritional content of meat and milk produced from small ruminants in the tropics. Neo-tropical wildlife as a source of animal products.
