Dr. Teola Noel is a graduate of the School of Veterinary Medicine at the University of the West Indies where she is now an Assistant Lecturer in the disciplines of Veterinary Public Health, Veterinary Epidemiology, Food Safety and Veterinary Immunology. Her key research area in leptospirosis is working on the development of suitable diagnostic methods for human and animal clinicians in Trinidad and Tobago in combatting this preventable but deadly disease
