Dr. Sundaram is a veterinary anatomist, always surprised by the amazing architecture and design of the biological structures and systems. Keen to bridge the structure to the function at all levels of body organization and apply the knowledge into translational research that benefit human and animals. A social, dynamic, and passionate teacher with a core objective of teaching the fundamentals of veterinary anatomy to the veterinary students, enhancing their cognitive and practical skills of anatomy and histology, and promoting the application of anatomy to clinical sciences and animal production

Dr. Sundaram’s major research interests revolves around reproductive biology/toxicology with major emphasis on environmental and lifestyle factors and their effects on the reproduction and endocrine function. Currently exploring the aphrodisiac potential of Bois Bande as a treatment option for erectile dysfunction. His additional research interests are on comparative vertebrate morphology on neotropical animals/birds
