Labs and Facilities
The Department of Mathematics and Statistics (DMS) has numerous labs and facilities for undergraduate students, postgraduate students and staff members.
Computer Science Undergraduate Lab (FST CSL 1 and 2)
The DMS Computer Science Undergraduate Lab (FST CSL 1 and 2) consists of two (2) labs separated by a wooden partition which can be removed to join both labs (especially for large classes).
MSCIT Projects Lab (Lab 3)
Walk-in Lab for students from the Department of Computing and Information Technology and from the Department of Mathematics and Statistics.
A section of this computer lab has been renovated to produce a postgraduate computer lab reserved for postgraduate students from the Department of Computing and Information Technology and from the Department of Mathematics and Statistics.
Faculty Postgraduate Lab (FST PG Lab/Room)
The Faculty of Science and Technology's Postgraduate Room is accessible to postgraduate students registered with Faculty of Science and Technology. Access must be granted via the FST Dean's Office.
Computer Login
To log on to machines in the lab, use your ID number and password. Initially, your password will be your date of birth in the form yyyy/mm/dd. You will be prompted to change your password on first log on.
