Minor in Actuarial Science

(15 credits)

The aim of the Minor in Actuarial Science programme is to provide the highest quality of education at the undergraduate level to students from the region, with an emphasis on the provision of knowledge and the development of appropriate subject-based skills. This programme has been developed with respect to benchmarking learning outcomes, level of knowledge and understanding, student skills, and methods of assessment.

Students pursuing a Minor in Mathematics together with a Minor in Actuarial Science cannot use MATH 2211, MATH 2115, or MATH 2212 for the Minor in Mathematics. These courses must be used for the Minor in Actuarial Science.

Students pursuing a Minor in Statistics together with a Minor in Actuarial Science cannot use STAT 3000 for the Minor in Actuarial Science. This course must be used for the Minor in Statistics.
