Academic and Professional Background
- Over three decades of academic experience in teaching, research, and leadership in Mathematics and Applied Computational Sciences.
- Currently serves as Head of the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, The UWI, St. Augustine Campus.
- Former Associate Professor of Mathematics at Haramaya University, Ethiopia, under the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
- Led the development and establishment of two postgraduate programmes—M.Ed. and M.Sc. in Mathematics—under Ethiopia’s National Higher Education Expansion Policy (2007/08–2008/09).
- Previously taught at the Ramanujan Academy of Mathematical Sciences and S.V. University College of Engineering, India.
- Delivered a broad range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Analysis, Algebra, Numerical Analysis, and Mathematical Modelling.

- Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) with applications in engineering, geophysics, and biomedical sciences.

- Nanofluid and non-Newtonian flow modelling
- Biomechanics and couple-stress fluids
- Convective heat and mass transfer
- Magnetohydrodynamics and porous-media transport
- Fixed-point theory and applied numerical methods
- Research applications extend to magnetic nanoparticle hyperthermia for cancer therapy, cardiovascular diagnostics, and targeted drug-delivery systems.
