Dr. Sharon Le Gall, attorney, course director and lecturer at the Faculty of Law, St. Augustine has been sworn in as a temporary Independent Senator. According to a release from the Office of the President she was appointed to hold the post for Dr. Rolph Balgobin who is out of the country. Dr. Le Gall was sworn in by Senate President Timothy Hamel-Smith.
