Ceremony Information

VENUE

Sport & Physical Education Centre (SPEC), The UWI, St. Augustine Campus

HOW TO ASSEMBLE

• You should arrive at the venue by 4:15pm
• You will be met by ushers who will escort you to your assigned seat.
• Once seated you would be presented with the Matriculation Register to sign.

You are required to stay in place for the entire ceremony as any change will disrupt the smooth flow of the proceedings.

Students who arrive after the ceremony has begun will not be allowed to participate in the Ceremony. Please pay particular attention to the information and be guided accordingly.

STUDENT DRESS CODE

All new students are required to wear:

• LADIES: White blouses and black skirts/formal trousers
• GENTS: White shirt and tie OR shirt-jack, formal trousers

NOTE

• Other colours are not permitted.
• Jeans are NOT permitted.
• Students not attired in accordance with the dress code will not be allowed to participate in the Ceremony.

GUEST

Because of the limited accommodation you can invite only one (1) person as your guest at the Matriculation Ceremony.

Guests are asked to be seated by 4:30pm
