What time does the 5K begin?
The race starts at UWI SPEC at 5:15 a.m.
Will participants be briefed before the race?
Yes. All participants in both the half-marathon & 5K MUST assemble at 4:00 am at UWI SPEC for warm-up and pre-race briefing on the morning of the race.
Do all participants receive a medal after the race?
Yes. All registered participants receive a medal.
Are there prizes awarded for the 5K?
Yes. The top three (3) registered finishers in both the male and female categories will receive a trophy and a hamper. In addition, the youngest and oldest registered finishers will receive a hamper/voucher.
Can I collect a package for someone else?
Yes. You must walk with a hard copy of the person’s authorization letter as well as a copy of their ID.
What is the minimum age for the 5K and the Half-Marathon?
The minimum age for the 5K is 8 years and the minimum age for the half-marathon is 15 years.
Can runners stay/sleep at the venue from the night before?
No, participants must arrive at the venue by 4:00 am on race morning.
Is there somewhere to store my bags/personal belongings while I participate in the race?
Yes, we have the ‘Bag Area’ which will be clearly marked at the venue on the day.
Can I get a refund or give my spot to someone if I cannot make it?
There is no refund or transfer of any registration.
