PRIZES
Important Prize Information
Prizes will be presented on Race Morning to:
- 1st to 5th place winners in the Open/International Category of the Half-Marathon
- 1st to 3rd place winners in the UWI SPEC 5K
All other prize winners will be invited to a prize-giving ceremony during the week following the event.
Unless otherwise stated, separate prizes will be awarded to male and female competitors in each category. The Team/Club Category is the only exception.
Half-Marathon Prizes
Open/International Category
- 1st Place – USD $1,250
- 2nd Place – USD $1,000
- 3rd Place – USD $750
- 4th Place – USD $500
- 5th Place – USD $250
UWI Special Categories
- UWI Student (Prizes for 1st–3rd)
- UWI Staff (Prizes for 1st–3rd)
- UWI Alumni Association (Prizes for 1st–3rd)
1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners will receive TTD cash prizes.
NAAATT National Championship
- 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place – Trophies
Age and Other Categories
The 1st place male and female winner in each category below will receive TTD $1,000:
- 15–19 years
- 20–29 years
- 30–39 years
- 40–49 years
- 50–59 years
- 60–69 years
- 70 years and over
- Physically Challenged
- Special Olympics
- Wheelchair
Team/Club Category
For the 2026 race, one cash prize will be awarded to the overall 1st place team/club.
UWI SPEC 5K Prizes
Prizes will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place male and female finishers.
Prizes will also be awarded to the:
- Youngest Male Finisher
- Youngest Female Finisher
- Oldest Male Finisher
- Oldest Female Finisher
UWI Special Category
- UWI Staff 5K Challenge Cup (Awarded to the UWI STA department/unit with the highest number of official 5K finishers.)
