The newsletter, which is one of the main communication tools for the Campus is distributed locally, regionally and internationally to UWI students, lecturers, alumni, as well as government officials, diplomats and other UWI stakeholders.

Since it was redesigned in early 2002, STAN has grown tremendously in size, scope and popularity.

UWI STAN magazine has won several international awards including the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) Silver Quill and the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU) award for excellence in publishing.
