A Review
A Look Back: The UWI Triple A Strategy 2017-2022
Upon the approval of the Triple A Strategy 2017-2022, the St. Augustine Campus enacted an implementation strategy with the establishment of the Strategic Implementation Steering Committee and Project Sub-Committees, various stakeholder engagement sessions, training workshops, and the development of action or operational plans by Faculties and Administrative Departments. Five core areas for strategic intervention were identified. These were geared to transform the Campus and maintain alignment with the Triple A Strategy and formed the foundation upon which the campus operational plan would be based:
- Curriculum and Pedagogical Reform (CPR),
- Innovation and Entrepreneurship,
- Internal Process Review,
- Financial Model Review, and
- Human Resources Review.
The output of the Campus’ implementation efforts through the work of the Key Strategy Office (KSO) and the Project Sub-Committees generated significant recommendations to impact changes to various policies and processes toward the improvement of the overall student experience, quality of teaching and learning, and operational and financial resource efficiencies. Further details of implementation progress made under the Triple A Strategy 2017-2022 are recorded in the Campus Operational Plan Mid-Term Review Report to the Strategic Implementation Steering Committee.
