Tracey Lucas is a Junior Research Fellow in the newly established Research, Evaluation and Outreach Unit at the School of Education, University of the West Indies, St. Augustine, where she is also pursuing a PhD in Education with a focus in Evaluation. Here, she is particularly interested in investigating student creativity as an educational outcome. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, with a minor in Theatre Arts, and a Master’s of Science Degree in Educational Effectiveness.
She is a fully trained Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist, with approximately eight (8) years of formal and informal training and experience in public, private, and academic spheres. Her contributions to such areas span qualitative and quantitative methods, analysis and data visualisations, particularly to aid interpretation and communication of evaluation results and facilitate decision-making. She is also a current member of the American Evaluation Association (AEA), the American Education Research Association (AERA) and the Mixed Methods International Research Association (MMIRA), and its Caribbean Chapter (MMIRA-CC).
