Graduate Sensitization Sessions

The School for Graduate Studies and Research would be hosting a series of Sensitization Sessions that will commence on April 23rd, 2024, aimed at both postgraduate research supervisors and students. These sessions have been carefully designed to facilitate the sharing of vital information and to foster a deeper understanding of the various aspects critical to the success of postgraduate research.

The objectives of these Sensitization Sessions are manifold. They are intended to clarify the roles and responsibilities of graduate research students and their advisory committees, discuss best practices in research, and address intellectual property rights. Furthermore, they will offer guidance on maintaining research ethics and provide valuable insights on navigating potential pitfalls, such as predatory publishing and plagiarism.
