As societies across the region and the world focus on attaining and maintaining food security, opportunities in agriculture and related industries are expanding. The St. Augustine Campus of The UWI, with our long tradition in agricultural teaching and research is putting a new focus on the potential contributions to generating weal and building healthier communities. We believe it is imperative that we in the Caribbean retain traditional, agricultural commodities, while offering new products to meet the changing tastes for different foods.
