Cathy-Ann Radix is a longstanding member of the IEEE having actively participated in the creation of the country-chapter IEEE-TT. Her interest in instructional scaffolding and its impact has led to research in the use of abstract writing, visual organisers, concept inventories, and remedial resources in learning and assessment activities. She is part of the faculty-team responsible for teaching Embedded Systems, in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, The University of the West Indies.
